A birthday without cake hmpf!
So now there is a 2 where the 1 used to be. Well well, longislandlisa is a bit older than last year whatever will she do?
The birthday celebration started off with mother and an uneventful greek meal
and ended with no candle, which means no cake, which is no problem BUT no candle means no wish. hmpf!
The next day I headed out to Montauk for what was supposed to be a quiet weekend with nobody to bother me but Huggies joined in and we had a much more eventful meal at
where we also got 2 for 1 meals, yah!
and it was good. But no cake, no candle, no wish, hmpf.
Funny I didnt even realize that i missed out on a birthday wish until days later. Maybe it was happy hour before huggies arrived or the bottle of wine at dinner or the many drinks at O'Murphys and Shagwong, who knows...but after waltzing around town in the misty rain we were kinda getting silly
and helped to make the bar a bit nuttier and the DJ was the irish waiter who played all of our requests but i have no idea what was going on here
the night contined and Huggies had a memorable "slumber" while I continued to checkout the town after the bar closed and headed to Liar's Saloon which was a local scary scene but fun anyway. I would recommend the not too skanky, open all year motel
In the end, I guess I will have to wait until Independence Day for my half birthday and maybe then i can have my 1/2 birthday wish and then it can 1/2 come true!
Thanks for coming Huggies ;-)
